Maryland’s Drew Kid teams up with Oooh Child Ensemble to create a modern fonk masterpiece. Possibly a better description for Drew Kid’s 2nd single would be a Hip Hop/Jazz/Soul hybrid, but the predominant, upfront funk cannot be denied. The layers of horns found in this jam is truly impressive and harkens back to old school crews like The Horny Horns and Tower of Power.
