Soul is Universal. However, there are many soul musicians you will never hear of in areas you wouldn’t think they perform this music. Enter singer, flautist, guitarist and composer Danny Groenland, or Danny G, and his band the Major 7ths from Ireland and their new album Love Joints. The album is a passionate, personal album with wonderful harmonies that shows a clear appreciation for the Soul Masters. From track one to finish, you’ll groove and fall in love with this joint. Definitely one of my favorite albums for the final quarter of this year!
