Chubb Rock + Wordsmith – Ol Skool Flava

The old emcees have been poppin up out of nowhere lately: Grand Puba, Kurious, Rakim is back… and now The Chubbster! He has a new album in stores, Bridging the Gap and largely it makes you miss Hitman Howie T because his beats were enough to make you overlook some of Chubb’s “not as good” rhymes. There’s one track on Bridging the Gap though, Old School Flava, that finds Chubb reminiscing over The Jones Girls – Nights Over Egypt that’s really nice…or do I just love Nights Over Egypt?
