For some reason, more than likely an insane one, I didn’t check out Nicole Willis & The Soul Investigators first album, Keep Reachin’ Up. Eight years later, after hearing this great single I’m completely ready for their upcoming album Tortured Soul which will be released early 2013. Alternating between a male and female vocal lead, all while consistently bringing the funk, you’d think Willie Mitchell was still with us bringing the soul we love!
