In this case, it’s “Octopus Heart”/”Menstrual Cycle”, a double A-side from his current touring outfit, 3rd Eye Girl. “Octopus Heart” is a soaring, 10:32 blues rock exercise that features Prince on guitar and Fender Rhodes piano. “Menstrual Cycle” has the cadence of Herbie Hancock’s “Chamelon” with splashes of synths and lead guitar work.
