Here’s a cool joint from 1994, yep almost 20 years ago. This one-off was produced largely by Tony Toni Tone’s Dwayne Wiggins but also featured production by Showbiz, Dres, Mista Lawnge, and Howie Tee. Late Pass #54: Peven Everett – The One I Want

This was the first track on his My Brazil CD (2003) and found the usually souled out or housed up Peven in a bossa mode. This 5 track EP was described as a “session that has Peven singing gently and soulfully, with mostly just acoustic guitar and percussion to back him up.
