DJ Tabone takes a sweet track from the past and adds some new millenium funk to it with some digi-help from the funky detroit drummer Kariem Riggins. With You I’m Born Again was the fruit of the frequent collaborators Billy Preston and Syreeta Wright’s effort to write a pop ballad for the 1979 movie Fast Break which they actually provided the full soundtrack for. The track became an international hit reaching number-two US and number-four UK in late 1979. Now enjoy it over 30 years later, in its latest jazzy incarnation and hear more treats from Tabone HERE
