I’ll never forget when I first purchased People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm from a now closed record store chain. As a 13 year old who was raised on early MTV, jazz, and R&B, amongst other things, the hodge podge of diverse sampled tracks, easily relatable topics and humor confirmed that this is what I should be listening to. 21 years later, I’m still a staunch fan of ATCQ and believe that any music lover and HipHop fan should own at least one of their albums.
Aside from their music, the crew has a much storied career and relationship, one that actor/fan and now documentarian Michael Rappaport has compiled for your viewing pleasure to be released July8.
