The coupling of Eric Lau and Georgia Anne Muldrow is a match made in heaven as witnessed on the 2011 Eric Lau & Dudley Perkins – Yet & Still (Ft. Georgia Anne Muldrow & Rahel), this workout seems to sing more sweetly though in my opinion. If you are familiar with the vocal talents of Georgia and her associations with the likes of Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper, Mos Def, Bilal, Wajeed, Sa-Ra etc you will certainly feel this. Eric Lau allows Georgia to really flex her soulstress self. Lau keeps it smooth with a slightly wonky beat feel to it with those dragging drums and quirky rhodes, and Muldrow goes for a wonderful vocal workout and this combination creates a sophisticated Neo soul turnout. Taken from “One of Many” by Eric Lau, which is out now.
