T3 – Hello World featuring Kameron Corvet (Video)

I’m moved. Some tracks simply strike a chord—the one behind the mic digs deep to share some sincere truth they have found. This is one of those tracks. The lyrics are honest. Introspective. Real. T3 tells all on “Hello World.” And thanks to fellow Detroit native Young RJ, an epic synth-filled beat, slight percussion, and just enough vocal support, join with T3’s raps to reach deep into the soul. The visuals (below) only make their effort more clear.

June 21 marks the release (digital only) of T3’s forthcoming solo project, 3iller. After listening to this selection, I’m anticipating quality à la the infectious sound he and his heralded Slum Village comrades brought us over the years. What touched me most about “Hello World,” is how he ends the track downplaying the petty disagreements in SV’s past: “Three of us, four of us, whatever, magic.” Keep the SV legacy alive, T3. We’re still listening.
