Vindahl – Serendipity

Vindahl’s first album, Serendipityis described as “a bold electronic indie pop album.” This is accurate, but I think it fails to grant enough emphasis to the retro feel of the album. At times you’ll either feel like you’re watching your favorite Brat Pack flick or sitting down watching your favorite dance vids with Donnie Simpson on Video Soul. Serendipity is defined as the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for and I definitely wasn’t expecting to dig this album so much.
