Farnell Newton has 10 days remaining on his Kickstarter campaign to fund the mixing, mastering, and manufacturing of his new album, Ready to Roll. As an all around good guy, the trumpeter, husband, educator and label head is also donating 10% of the campaign to the non-profit UseMusic.org.
Lead single Peace + Love will be available via iTunes March 17 and is one of many valid reasons to support this brother’s endeavors. Farnell is always associated with quality and this trio does not deviate. Jarrod Lawson comes through with the butter smooth Eric Benet vocals while Ozier and Newton completely obliterate the brass and production. Delivering a message of positivity in today’s musical climate it to be commended and Farnell and company makes it sound so good.
