Ohio native Freeze-Tag, nèe Marcus Alan Ward, delivers an interesting remapping of undoubtedly the most beloved and still strangely beautiful of Little Dragon’s tracks.
I normally don’t go in for remakes of tracks I already deem as untouchable but Freeze-Tag does a nice job here adding moderate keys, robo-strings, electric bass bubbles and lots of vocal re-verb, as he eschews Yukimi‘s sublime vocals to replace them with his own voice.
