Since stumbling upon them over at their Bandcamp page where they released their very DIY “Social Studies” EP about a year ago, Ang, Matt, Grant & Ian, better known group-wise as Body Language, have been a large blip on my musical radar.
And though they have eschewed releasing anything recently, unless you count the re-release of Social Studies as a bonus edition, the remix swap they did with Toro Y Moi or the work they’ve been doing with Vacationer, they did keep themselves in my peripherals this week by offering up this FreeMix that I’ve been jammin’ to today.
Nice grooves indeed. Plus they’re touring around the Cali areas right now as well, so if you happen to be on the left coast and in the vicinity, it would behoove you to check them out live and then report the details back to me, pronto.
