Apollo Brown’s recently released instrumental project, Clouds, is extraordinary. I’m currently obsessed with “Drinking Life.” (Some may hear the track as the days passing by in a drunk’s life. I hear it as theme music for a passionate individual—drunk from being focused on their career, or drunk from love not noticing time passing, or whatever else one might be passionate about.)
Another dope instrumental—honestly, my ears are digging every instrumental—on the album is “Heirloom.” Its slow, cyclic melody is thought-provoking. Accordingly, Mellow Music Group artist, Has-Lo, recently shared his thoughts over the deep beat. Listen (below) to the dope collaboration.
