  • There's a new name to add to the long line of recent guitar wielding rock & soul slingers, Gary Clark Jr. Much like his contemporaries: Van Hunt, Lenny Kravitz, Martin Luther and Cody Chestnutt, this brother can craft and sing a ballad like no one's business and this gem from his Daytrotter Sessions is proof positive. I began to see the buzz on this brother maybe 2 months ago, but now he has my attention and deserves yours as well. Grab the Daytrotter Sessions HERE

  • Race the Sun is the first experience many of us will have of South African composer/producer Seth Williams. His EP, Journey To Love will be released soon to provide more insight into the musical mind of this son of an opera singer. Race the Sun is a melodic musical journey that will invoke comparisons to Madlib's Yesterday's New Quintet but is definitely in it's own lane. Shouts out to Duane Powell for the heads up, grab the track HERE and stay tuned for more info
