As the deadline approaches for the second Badu remix, flips, and covers mix (download) and I’m checking out literally hundreds of manifestations of Erykah’s material, I had a realization. I noticed no one was freaking any of her original samples! Five albums in, she has used many samples to create many dope tunes and I remembered this compilation that’s a testament to the quality of the samples selected for her music.
