Like clockwork, every two years, Conya Doss releases an album of her own unique brand of soul. (Take note D’angelo; Maxwell; Rachelle Ferrell). I’m loving this 2012 variant. Her voice sounds divine. I’m still wondering why she doesn’t get much larger play (or does she) from soul heads in general? That unique voice alone should make people love her. Glad to see she’s finding a way to make her instrument heard and appreciated!
