Magnetic Soil is Japanese jazz sextet Soil and “Pimp” Sessions’ latest offering of their self proclaimed “death jazz.” As they celebrate a decade of performing together they offer many genre fusions but my favorite is when they keep it most simple with Maia Hirasawa.
