Despite Stephen Bruner aka Thundercat’s “young” age, the brother has played with a range of really great musicians: from Leon Ware to Erykah Badu. His debut Flying Lotus produced album, The Golden Age of Apocalypse will be released Aug 29th and while listening to it, signals a really great return to the jazz fusion era in the midst of cats like Jose James and Gregory Taylor on the trad jazz tip.
